What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide-1) is a skin-conditioning peptide used in cosmetics to help skin look smoother, firmer and more radiant.
Why beef tallow?
Grass-fed tallow is rich in fatty acids similar to those naturally found in skin, making it an excellent moisturizer that helps support the skin's moisture barrier.
Why is the balm blue?
The soft blue color comes from methylene blue, included in small amounts in the formula.
Does it smell like beef?
No. Our tallow is carefully rendered and purified so the finished balm has a very mild, neutral scent. We add no synthetic fragrance.
Is it suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Many customers with dry and sensitive skin love it, but every skin is different. Always patch test on a small area (such as the inner arm) for 24 hours before first use. If you have a skin condition, consult a dermatologist.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please consult your healthcare provider before using any new skincare product while pregnant or nursing.
How long does a jar last?
With daily use of a pea-sized amount, a 60 g jar typically lasts 2–3 months. Best used within 12 months of opening; store in a cool, dry place.
Are your products tested on animals?
We do not test our finished products on animals.
